Outdoor Space Upkeeper

Job Role:
\Green space maintenance and upkeep involves a variety of physical tasks, such as weeding, pruning tree branches, spreading mulch, and identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.
\This hands-on role requires strong communication skills to work effectively with colleagues in the gardens and on campus events.
\Key Responsibilities:

- Maintenance of gardens, including weeding, pruning, and spreading mulch\
- Setting up for college events\
- Identifying and addressing any maintenance or grounds issues\
- Ensuring the maintenance compound is tidy and organized\
- Planting trees and shrubs as directed by site managers\
- Mowing, blowing, and line trimming lawns and other outdoor areas\
- Performing various laboring tasks on and occasionally off campus\
- Using power tools safely and efficiently\
- Working collaboratively as part of a high-performing team\
- Meeting deadlines and working independently when required\\/ul>\
Requirements:

- Experience in gardening, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance is preferred\
- Being physically fit to lift, bend, kneel, and work in all weather conditions\
- Having experience using power tools is beneficial\
- Being reliable, motivated, and able to work as part of a team\
- Able to follow instructions and complete tasks to a high standard\
- Being flexible and adaptable to changing priorities\\/ul>\
