Job Opportunity: Natural Reserves Maintenance Officer
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to maintain gardens and outdoor spaces, working outdoors in various settings including natural reserves, parks and open spaces.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining gardens and outdoor areas, utilizing tools, plant and equipment relating to civil/open space maintenance.
As a Natural Reserves Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining civil and open space areas, including gardens, parks and reserves;
- Utilizing a variety of tools, plant and equipment relating to civil/open space maintenance;
- Ensuring the upkeep and conservation of natural reserves and other outdoor spaces;
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals and outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Victorian Driver's License;
- Proven industry experience in horticulture, conservation or arboriculture maintenance;
- The ability to use a variety of tools, plant and mechanical equipment relating to civil/open space maintenance;
- A valid Working with Children Check and Police Check.
Desirable qualifications include:
- A Front End Loader Licence;
- A Chainsaw Proficiency Certificate;
- A Certificate II or III in Horticulture, Arboriculture or Conservation.
