As a passionate and dedicated Cook, you will play an important role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our residents through delicious, wholesome food.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen practices, with completion of a Food Handling Course and relevant Certificate.

You will work under the guidance of the Chef Supervisor, preparing high-quality meals that meet the needs of our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present high quality meals that are nourishing and enjoyable for residents.
  • Support the delivery of special dietary requirements as advised by health professionals.
  • Assist with ordering and managing stock supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with the Food Safety Program and maintain safe work practices.
  • Contribute to a clean, organised, and welcoming kitchen environment.

What You Will Bring:

  • Completion of a Food Handling Course.
  • Certificate relevant to the role (for example, Certificate III in Hospitality – Commercial Cookery).
  • Current National Police Certificate (or the ability to obtain one).
