Role Summary

This is a key role in developing lifestyle programs based on individual needs, preferences and goals. The successful candidate will lead and participate in the delivery of engaging activities that are meaningful to residents.

  • Develop personalized lifestyle programs for residents based on their unique needs and preferences;
  • Lead and participate in delivering impactful lifestyle activities;
  • Prepare comprehensive lifestyle assessments of residents to ensure accurate and thorough documentation;
  • Ensure timely documentation of resident participation and engagement for continuous improvement;
  • Manage and mentor the lifestyle team to deliver exceptional lifestyle experiences;
  • Support the orientation and training of new team members and volunteers to foster a culture of excellence;
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families and volunteers to enhance their overall experience;
  • Facilitate opportunities for residents to engage with their community and promote social inclusion.
About You
  • You possess a deep understanding of leisure and lifestyle programming and Aged Care Quality Standards;
  • You hold a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification;
  • You have prior experience in a Lifestyle Assistant/Coordinator position (or similar), including dementia care;
  • You excel in communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
