Quality Assurance Specialist Role

We are seeking a proactive Quality Advisor to join our team on the Coffs Harbour Bypass Project. This role involves occasional site travel and ensures the delivery of high-quality Acceptance Reports, Provisional Acceptance (PA), and Final Acceptance (FA), in line with project schedules and quality standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to resolve Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Defect Notices, ensuring compliance with acceptance requirements.

A key requirement for this role is a degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical) or a related discipline, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems in regulated heavy engineering environments.

In addition to these skills, the successful candidate will have strong coordination, planning, and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Maintain and manage Verification and Validation data.
  • Collaborate with project staff and stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Participate in reviews of project delivery and quality processes to support continuous improvement.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical) or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
