Occupational Therapist

We provide life changing support to help others improve their independence, access, development, health and wellbeing, and function.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team who support each other's challenges and wins.

No two days are ever the same as we work with participants in daycare centres, schools, homes, and on outreach trips.

The successful candidate will provide supports to NDIS participants living in various areas.

  • Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services.
  • Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
  • Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance participants' quality of life and meet their goals.
  • Mentor and nurture early career clinicians.
  • Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

To be successful, you will have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Occupational Therapist.
  • A passion for working with vulnerable members of your community.
  • A desire to share your knowledge and inspire junior clinicians.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with a large multi-disciplinary team.
