Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist with our organization, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides high-quality support services to individuals with disabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing an allocated caseload and delivering timely therapeutic services
  • Assessing participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
  • Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
  • Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
  • Mentoring and nurturing early career clinicians
  • Maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance

Responsibilities will also include:

  • Working across the lifespan with physical disability, paediatrics, adults, psychosocial conditions, and neurodevelopmental conditions
  • Delivering timely therapeutic services and managing an allocated caseload

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • A pro-active attitude and interest in continually developing your skills
  • Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
