Clinical Coding Expertise Required

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Coding Auditor Educator to oversee clinical coding auditor/educator functions in Western Australia and South Australia.

The ideal candidate will promote best practice through oversight of health fund audits, establishment of a structured training program, pioneering predictive analytics, contributing to the framework development and improvement, and perpetuating a culture of accountability, good documentation, learning and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of health fund audits
  • Establishment of a standardised structured training program
  • Pioneering methods in predictive analytics
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of frameworks, systems, analytics and processes
  • Perpetuating a culture of accountability, good documentation, learning and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Clinical Classification or equivalent
  • Certificate in External Clinical Coding Auditing or equivalent experience
  • Excellent computer literacy and communication skills
  • Commitment to achieving excellent outcomes with a strong sense of accountability

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Associate Diploma or Bachelor of Applied Science, Medical Record Administration or Health Information Management or equivalent
  • Eligible for membership with the Health Information Management Association of Australia
