Join us to be part of a multidisciplinary team in the Emergency Department providing specialist response services to patients with complex social and emotional challenges.


We are seeking a highly skilled Social Worker to support patients and their families through crisis situations, connecting them with resources and advocacy.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide trauma-informed responses to victims of interpersonal trauma and their families.
  • Develop and maintain effective professional community networks.
  • Demonstrate high-level written and oral communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Prioritise work, manage stressful situations, and work independently.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification as a Social Worker and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • Feminine gender is a genuine occupational requirement.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective community networks.
  • High-level communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
