Job Overview
The Procurement Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the effective management of procurement processes. This position is responsible for providing expert advice and assurance on ACCC procurement and contract processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert advice on procurement plans, contracts, and evaluation reports;
- Conducting reviews and providing constructive advice on approval minutes;
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of tools, templates, and standard operating procedures;
- Working collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to achieve service delivery outcomes;
- Responding to advice requests in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Demonstrated experience in applying the Commonwealth Government procurement framework, including the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and emerging Whole of Australian Government requirements;
- Proven experience in undertaking end-to-end procurement, including reviewing and providing constructive advice on procurement plans and contracts;
- Strong understanding of procurement policies and procedures;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
