As the Procurement Leadyou will be responsible for driving end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities, ensuring cost-effective and timely sourcing of goods and services. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to align procurement with the project's strategic and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead procurement activities across the NWTD project.
  • Ensure the implementation of contracts, performance management and supplier relationship management for assigned projects.
  • Develop and finalise RFQ packages including technical specs and terms.
  • Lead the resolution of commercial issues associated with supplier performance at company/project level.
  • Review Procurement performance, identify risks, develop, and implement practical solutions to minimise or address issues that impact performance.
  • Provide clear directions, priorities, and output expectations to Team Members.
  • Development and maintenance of asset, external hire, material, and consumable registers, capturing incoming and outgoing goods and service history.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • Qualification in Procurement and Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong background in procurement, purchasing, logistics, and supplier management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and relevant procurement software.
