Our Work
As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects that involve reviewing and providing expert advice on procurement plans, contracts, and evaluation reports. You will also contribute to the development of tools, templates, and standard operating procedures to improve our services.
Your Role
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert advice and assurance on procurement processes, including the development and compliance review of procurement plans and minutes, request for tender documentation, panel arrangements, evaluations, negotiations, probity matters, contracts, and stakeholder engagement.
- Responding to advice requests in a timely and professional manner, escalating sensitive or complex issues to the team where appropriate.
- Working collaboratively with internal teams and external entities to achieve service delivery outcomes.
- Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of our services, including updating intranet pages and delivering training.
Your Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Demonstrated experience in applying the Commonwealth Government procurement framework, including the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and emerging Whole of Australian Government (WoAG) requirements.
- Demonstrated experience undertaking end-to-end procurement, including reviewing and providing constructive advice on procurement plans, approval minutes, contracts, and evaluation reports.
- Demonstrated experience contributing to continuous improvement, including updating intranet pages and delivering training.
- Demonstrated experience effectively managing competing priorities and strategic directions.
