We are seeking experienced pilots to join our team for an air ambulance contract based in Melbourne. The role involves operating the aircraft as a single pilot in close teamwork with medical staff who provide care and treatment onboard. Shifts commence and finish from Essendon.

About the Role

The successful candidate will operate our fleet of King Air B260 and B360 aircraft, delivering life-saving services including emergency patient retrieval and transfer across Victoria and to other states. They will work closely with Flight Paramedics and medical staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate King Air B260 and B360 aircraft as a single pilot.
  • Work closely with medical staff to deliver patient care onboard.
  • Retrieve and transfer patients across Victoria and to other states as required.
  • Maintain safety and compliance standards for all missions.
Requirements
  • CASA ATPL (or CPL with all ATPL subjects completed)
  • CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • 1500 Hours Pilot-in-Command
  • 400 Hours Multi Engine Pilot-in-Command
  • 100 Hours Night Pilot-in-Command
  • 250 Hours Instrument Flight Time
  • Multi-Engine Instrument Rating Renewals - min 3
  • Ability to work with a multi-disciplined team
  • Ability to pass a working with children check
Desirable Skills
  • Prior experience in the King Air B260 and/or B360 aircraft
  • Check and training background
  • 1000 Hours Turbine Pilot-in-Command
