Remote Aviation Instructor Job Description

At our organization, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Remote Aviation Instructor to join our team. As a Remote Aviation Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to students in the field of remote aviation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver theory and practical lessons and training to students from a wide range of backgrounds
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of adult learning principles and industry best practices
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver blended learning solutions that meet the needs of our customers
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to ensure student competence

Requirements:

  • Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent
  • Hold or have recently held an Aviation Licence (including Remote Pilot Licence and/or Remote Operator's Certificate) with an Instrument Rating (IREX) or BVLOS
  • At least 2 years' experience in a training role, preferably within a regulated industry
  • Thorough understanding of adult learning principles and industry best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Highly computer literate, including online delivery technologies
