About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Information Management Specialist to join our team at Snowy Hydro. As the Information and Document Control Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth management and regulation of all project-related information and documents across the Snowy 2.0 project's lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document Control and Information Management: Develop and implement a Document Control and Information Management System for the Snowy Hydro 2.0 Project, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure effective communication and coordination of document control activities.
  • Document Organization and Maintenance: Oversee the organisation, storage, maintenance, and retrieval of electronic and hard copy project documentation, ensuring accessibility and version control.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and project-specific contractual obligations related to document control and information management, identifying and mitigating risks associated with document control and information management.
  • Training and Support: Train and support project team members on document control procedures and systems, promoting adherence to best practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Management, Document Control, or Engineering.
  • Proven experience in document control or information management, preferably within the infrastructure or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in document control software and systems, such as Documentum, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
  • A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to document control and information management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including experience leading a team or managing projects.
