Job Opportunity: Legal Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Legal Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing and resolving claims involving litigation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage statutory litigation and provide legal support to our claims teams.
  • Assist with the preparation and strategic management of work injury damages claims.
  • Provide legal advice on legislative matters and participate in strategic reviews of our claims portfolio.
  • Stay up-to-date with case law and precedents affecting claims.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) preferably working in a Workers Compensation team managing Work Injury Damages and Statutory Workers Compensation matters.
  • Strong people and stakeholder management skills.
  • A current NSW practice certificate.
