High-End Electrical Estimator Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled High-End Electrical Estimator. We are seeking an experienced professional with exceptional estimating skills and knowledge of electrical systems.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Estimate costs for high-end residential projects using SimPRO, Ground Plan and Excel software.
  • Marks up electrical plans manually based on builder specifications and client selections.
  • Forecast material needs, raise purchase orders, and coordinate procurement.
  • Track scope, monitor variations, and ensure accurate margin control.
  • Maintain pricing databases and templates for ongoing accuracy.
  • Provide expert estimating advice to the Director and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience in electrical estimating (residential, commercial or industrial).
  • Proficiency in SimPRO, Ground Plan, and Excel software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret electrical plans.
  • Calm, organized, and able to work independently without micromanagement.
  • Bonus points for qualifications in electrical, estimating, or project management.
  • Australian industry experience required.
