About the Role

The University of Melbourne is seeking an experienced leader to join our Research Grants, Contracts and Finance (RGCF) team as an Associate Director, Post-Award. This role will lead the development and improvement of post-award research services, enhancing research excellence and impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of post-award services, including research contracting and post-award contract management.
  • Develop and implement innovative processes and systems to improve client satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Encourage a high-performance culture, driving improvement through clear objectives, feedback, and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience leading in a complex service-oriented organization, with a proven track record of effective delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Proven capacity to create efficient end-to-end processes in post-award/contract to output areas.
