Job Role

  • Lead the establishment of wellbeing services in schools, providing necessary supports to students with mild-to-moderate mental health concerns.
  • Collaborate with school leadership and student support teams to inform student support planning and provide advice on supporting students' mental health.
  • Assess student mental health needs, developing appropriate interventions and delivering individual and group sessions addressing mental health concerns.
  • Coordinate referrals to external agencies and work with networks and stakeholders to ensure access to relevant supports.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to families to support student mental health and respond to critical incidents as part of the school response team.

Responsibilities
