A fantastic opportunity exists for a Mental Health Specialist to enhance employee wellbeing and manage psychosocial risks in the NSW Police Force workforce.

About the role

The position plays a vital part in providing mental health and organisational consultancy and counselling services to employees, supervisors and managers.

As a Mental Health Specialist, you will support the implementation of relevant policies and procedures; deliver training programs and proactive interventions including advice on the effectiveness of regional program implementations.

This position is located at Parramatta and involves delivering short-term solution-focused counselling and wellbeing services to NSW Police Force employees.

You will work closely with employees, supervisors and managers to develop proactive and preventative interventions and advise on their effectiveness in regions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide mental health and organisational consultancy and counselling services;
  • Implement relevant policies and procedures;
  • Deliver training programs;
  • Develop proactive and preventative interventions;
  • Advise on the effectiveness of regional program implementations.
