About the Role

Sacred Heart Mission is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Finance to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Oversee all financial and management accounting operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Manage a small, dedicated finance team to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial services.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and program managers to provide financial insights and analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices in the NFP sector.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or similar professional qualification.
  • Extensive experience in finance, including leadership roles within a finance team.
  • Proven track record in strategic financial planning and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and best practices in the NFP sector.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
