About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Finance to join our team at Sacred Heart Mission. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small, dedicated finance team in overseeing all financial and management accounting operations.
  • Manage the budgeting process, oversee accounts payable and receivable, and prepare comprehensive financial reports.
  • Maintain healthy cash flow and ensure the financial integrity of the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Operating Officer and other senior leadership to provide detailed financial insights and analysis.
Requirements
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or similar professional qualification.
  • Extensive experience in finance, including leadership roles within a finance team.
  • Proven track record in strategic financial planning and analysis.
  • A strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and best practices in the NFP sector.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
