About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Wilmar. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of multiple capital works projects across various disciplines, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and zero injuries from concept to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure effective project execution.
  • Coordinate and monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and provide regular project reports to stakeholders, including progress updates, financial performance, and risk assessments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and business outcomes.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered in accordance with company standards, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualified and post-trade qualifications in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project engineering and management, preferably in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
