Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to achieve project objectives.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring effective engineering, planning, quality, survey, cost control, and scheduling functions.
- Prepare and provide regular progress reports, including manpower and cost updates, and coordinate work scheduling and procurement.
- Support and mentor project teams, manage performance, and monitor compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Contribute to improving safety behavior and awareness by identifying and mitigating safety risks.
- Ensure risk assessments and permits to work are completed and approved prior to project commencement.
- Manage contractors and ensure projects are delivered according to agreed timelines, outcomes, and financial plans.
- Provide technical engineering support and expert advice as required.
- Develop and manage customer requirements and interfaces to ensure projects align with business needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to support project understanding and completion.
- Trade-qualified and post-trade qualifications in Engineering or a Bachelor of Engineering.
- 5+ years of project engineering and management experience in manufacturing or heavy industries.
- Experience in managing multi-disciplined projects.
- Exposure to continuous improvement or lean principles.
- Strong analytical and systematic skills, with excellent communication, negotiating, and record-keeping capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Wilmar's business values: Excellence, Innovation, Integrity, Passion, Safety, and Teamwork.
