Production Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in process optimization, leadership, and team management.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Manage shop floor control and quality assurance systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve plant and product faults
  • Maintain safe working procedures and good housekeeping practices
  • Report on shift performance and provide insights for improvement
  • Select, induct, and train replacement shift personnel
  • Achieve budgeted performance efficiencies

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role
  • Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications
  • Proven leadership skills with ability to improve individual and team performance
  • Comprehensive understanding of modern manufacturing principles and preventative maintenance strategies
  • Ability to work in a complex processing environment
