We are in search of an individual who enjoys working outdoors, possesses a keen attention to detail, and is ready to commence in this fixed-term position. We seek someone with substantial experience in grounds maintenance who takes pride in their craftsmanship and is enthusiastic about imparting their expertise to young learners. Our long-term contracts with major organizations ensure stable employment throughout the year, coupled with the rewarding experience of making a significant impact on the lives of young unemployed individuals.

Your Opportunity


• Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with ongoing work

In this role, you will be responsible for various projects, including garden and grounds upkeep, mowing, mulching, weeding, soft landscaping, and both internal and external cleaning tasks.

Your Responsibilities


• Execute a diverse range of grounds and garden maintenance activities

• Supervise, mentor, and train a group of young trainees

• Lead by example, fostering independence and well-being

• Ensure adherence to contract specifications and scheduling requirements

• Maintain tools and equipment in optimal condition

• Promote a positive Workplace Health and Safety culture and ensure compliance

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess the skills, experience, and enthusiasm to work alongside our young trainees, delivering high-quality projects for our clients while fulfilling contractual obligations. You will have a deep understanding of the skills and behaviors necessary to instill in young individuals and will be highly motivated and supportive.

You should bring:

• A passion for and commitment to empowering young people

• A recognized industry or trade qualification (preferred)

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in grounds or garden maintenance

• Proven knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety regulations

• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with trainees and clients

• A current white card and first aid certification or the ability to obtain them
