Your Opportunity


• Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with ongoing work

In this role, you will be responsible for various projects including garden and grounds upkeep, mowing, mulching, weeding, soft landscaping, and cleaning both interior and exterior spaces.

Your Responsibilities


• Execute a diverse range of grounds and garden maintenance activities

• Oversee, mentor, and train a group of young trainees

• Set a positive example and encourage independence and well-being

• Ensure compliance with contract specifications and scheduling requirements

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order

• Foster a positive Workplace Health and Safety culture and ensure adherence to regulations

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess the skills, experience, and enthusiasm to work alongside our young trainees, delivering high-quality projects while fulfilling contractual obligations. You will understand the essential skills and behaviors to cultivate in young individuals and will be highly motivated and supportive.

You should bring:

• A passion for and commitment to youth development

• Recognized industry or trade qualification (preferred)

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in grounds or garden maintenance

• Demonstrated understanding of Workplace Health and Safety requirements

• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with trainees and clients

• A current white card and first aid certification or the ability to obtain them
