Job Summary:
Ventia is seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Attendant to join their team in Darwin, NT. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of grounds maintenance services across Defence sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough job safety checks prior to commencing work to ensure a safe working environment.
- Service and maintain equipment in accordance with the Operator's Manual and maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance.
- Operate and maintain equipment, including gardening and landscaping tools, to maintain high-quality grounds and outdoor spaces.
- Participate in general labouring tasks, including building and plumbing trade sites, as directed by the team leader.
- Regularly clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, and tools used during service delivery to ensure they are in good working condition.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a hot outdoor environment and adapt to changing weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- A valid Australian Driving Licence and Transport accreditation.
