Value Add Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee our multi-species processing facility in Australia. This role involves managing production costs, processing yields, and driving growth within our value-added venture.
The successful candidate will have a strong focus on leading a team, imparting specialist knowledge, and utilising innovative technologies to ensure product viability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading from the front while developing a strong team
- Imparting specialist knowledge in relation to VA, technical processes, branding, and best practice manufacturing
- Utilising specialist technologies with an innovative approach to ensure product viability
- Achieving operational efficiencies to support company growth and a superior end product
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated commitment to meeting all requirements in relation to food safety, people safety, and maintenance and enhancement of brand integrity
- Sound technical knowledge of meat processing
- Understanding and compliance with Workplace Health and Safety standards
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
