Prospero Teaching is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Service Leadership to lead our Before and After School Care programs in Melbourne.

As a Director of Service Leadership, you will be responsible for the management of the Before, After and Holiday Care and supervision of children and educators, under the guidance of the Area Manager.

You will plan, deliver and evaluate the Service which is both operationally and commercially viable and which effectively delivers organisation goals and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Educators and facilitate intentional teaching experiences for children
  • Demonstrate meaningful relationships with children, families and your peers
  • Plan and lead the team, delegate tasks and support and mentor your team members

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role in a childcare or education setting
  • Proven track record of successful program management and leadership
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
