The General Manager, Insight and Reform is a senior leader in the Specialist Courts and Programs (SCP) divisions responsible for leading projects and new initiatives for the division, helping shape the future direction of service delivery and the transformation of SCP.
The General Manager is responsible for a small team that delivers directorate-style support to the Executive Director; the delivery of policy and reform initiatives, analysis and evaluation functions; as well as the management and oversight of contracted services.
The role provides expert advice ensuring activities are delivered effectively and efficiently, assisting to identify and mitigate risks while ensuring delivery of the SCP continuous improvement agenda.
This role will be called on to provide support and thought leadership to other areas in the development of service delivery, strategies, and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects and new initiatives for the SCP division
- Deliver policy and reform initiatives, analysis and evaluation functions
- Manage and oversee contracted services
- Provide expert advice to ensure effective and efficient delivery of activities
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure delivery of the SCP continuous improvement agenda
- Provide support and thought leadership to other areas in the development of service delivery, strategies, and capabilities
The State Government of Victoria, Australia is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state.
The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year.
