Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lighting Designer to join our team in Melbourne.

The role involves working on diverse high-impact projects, delivering innovative specialist lighting design solutions that meet our clients' needs.

This is a challenging opportunity for a talented professional to lead the specialist lighting design on complex building projects, delivering coordinated and sustainable solutions.

You will work with various stakeholders, including clients, architects, builders, and consultants, to deliver efficient and code-compliant lighting systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving design quality and contributing to project delivery across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the specialist lighting design on complex building projects
  • Work with clients, architects, builders, and consultants to deliver efficient and code-compliant lighting systems
  • Drive design quality and contribute to project delivery across various sectors

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in lighting design within the building services or architectural design sector
  • Strong technical knowledge of lighting design principles, Australian Standards, and authority requirements
  • Ability to deliver projects independently while coordinating with other services
  • Passion for sustainability and experience in integrating energy-efficient and human-centric lighting strategies
  • Clear communication, practical problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and membership of IESANZ or similar professional organisations
