In this role, you'll deliver high-quality lighting design and electrical engineering consulting services across a diverse portfolio of transport infrastructure projects—from local roadways to complex, multi-disciplinary developments.This is your opportunity to contribute to projects that enhance public safety, energy efficiency, and urban design, while working within a globally respected consultancy that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.What You'll Be DoingYou'll play a pivotal role in delivering strategic lighting solutions and technical expertise across a broad range of transport sector projects.
Your responsibilities will include:Applying Energy Queensland Public Lighting and Rate 2 Design principles to achieve outstanding design outcomes Producing detailed lighting documentation and technical reports tailored to client needs Interpreting client briefs and offering strategic direction and advice Communicating complex technical concepts in clear, accessible language Preparing design documentation with rigorous quality assurance Coordinating with other engineering disciplines across multi-disciplinary projects Representing WSP in industry forums and contributing to local business development Ensuring compliance with internal policies and participating in strategic planning meetingsWhat we're looking forWe Welcome Lighting Engineers At All Levels, Provided You Bring a Minimum Of 2 Years' Experience In Energex/Ergon Energy Roadway Lighting Design In Queensland.
You'll Also BringA Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Design, or equivalent, or be a qualified electrician Proficiency in AGi or Perfectlite is preferred Strong understanding of design models and interdisciplinary coordination Expertise in safety-in-design practices and risk management Proven ability to deliver cost-effective, high-quality client outcomes Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills A collaborative mindset and openness to feedbackImagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.Join our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
