Job Summary

The Student Wellbeing Specialist plays a pivotal role in enhancing student learning and wellbeing outcomes. This position is based at Wilcannia Central School, offering opportunities to work with students across the lifespan.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based counselling and psychological assessments of students
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes
  • Participate in regular professional supervision and ongoing professional development
Key Requirements:
  • A registered or provisionally registered psychologist, or eligibility for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • Ability and willingness to travel between worksites
  • An unconditional, full approval to teach or eligibility to apply for an approval to teach
