Student Mental Health Specialist

The Student Mental Health Specialist will provide expert mental health services to students, supporting their emotional and psychological wellbeing. This role involves conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and collaborating with teachers and other stakeholders to promote student success.
Key Responsibilities:- Counselling and therapy sessions with students, using evidence-based approaches.
- Psychological assessments, including case formulation and report writing.
- Collaboration with teachers and school staff to develop strategies for supporting student wellbeing.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A registered or provisionally registered psychologist, or eligibility for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Experience working with children and young people, particularly in a educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
