Job Opportunity: Health and Benefits Consultant

In this role, you will play a key part in expanding our health and benefits presence in the Perth market. Your main objective will be to grow our market share while maintaining a portfolio of existing clients.

The role requires an experienced professional with extensive knowledge of the Western Australian health and benefits market. You will need to be familiar with Group Risk Insurance and/or Private Health Insurance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a sales plan for health and benefits in WA that meets new business targets.
  • Providing service and support to existing health and benefits clients.
  • Maintaining relationships with insurers, clients, and other key stakeholders, professionally representing us.
  • Building internal relationships with General Insurance Brokers in the WA office, integrating health and benefits solutions to existing and potential clients via RFPs.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Industry-related qualifications and relevant business degree desirable.
  • Proficient in sales, driving sales initiatives, and identifying and closing out opportunities.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work as the sole health and benefits consultant in the state.
  • Knowledge of a successful sales process is critical, as well as Group Risk and Group Medical.
  • Proven sales and service experience in the health and benefits or related market.
  • A strong network and understanding of the WA financial/benefits market.
