Job Description

As a recycling assistant, you will provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers sort their recyclable products and providing them with the correct refund.

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to customers
  • Sort recyclable items into their correct categories
  • Transport items to relevant storage areas using forklifts or manual handling
  • Ensure customers are welcomed and assisted with their recycling products to inspire return customers
  • Handle cash transactions efficiently
  • Monitor staff adherence to health and safety procedures and report any hazards/faults/risks
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous customer service, hospitality, or retail experience
  • Excellent Excel and Outlook skills
  • A positive attitude with customer service at the forefront of all interactions
