Underground Paste Fill Operations Specialist

At our mine site, we are seeking a highly skilled Underground Paste Fill Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our underground operations, you will play a vital role in maintaining paste fill systems and supporting the broader mining team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain paste fill systems and reticulation to ensure efficient and safe operation
  • Conduct regular pre- and post-fill inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
  • Monitor consumables and optimize usage to minimize downtime and reduce waste
  • Troubleshoot equipment faults and report findings to ensure timely resolution
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards at all times

As an Underground Paste Fill Operations Specialist, you will also be responsible for championing a strong safety culture, identifying hazards, and promoting best practices throughout the team.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in underground mining, with a focus on paste fill operations
  • A current manual C Class Driver's Licence
  • Working at Heights certification
  • A solid understanding of paste fill operations and general mine services
  • Strong communication, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills
