Administration Officer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administration Officer to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our administration team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support and customer service to patients and visitors.

In this role, you will be required to perform a range of tasks including receiving patients and visitors, responding to general reception enquiries, consulting with patients, carers and clinical staff, and maintaining accurate records.

You will also be responsible for attending to presenting patients, family members, the general public, police and ambulance by undertaking standard ED Administration duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to maintain composure, professionalism and efficiency during times of high demand and 'surge' activity
