Job Title: Administrator and Accountant
We are seeking an experienced Administrator and Accountant to join our team. This is a full-time position that offers variety and opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in accounts payable, with a sound knowledge of accounting principles. They will be responsible for overseeing and assisting in the daily AP function, including raising purchase orders, invoice entry, monthly reconciliations, payment processing and supplier maintenance.
In addition, they will assist with payroll, including daily timesheet entry, weekly payroll processing and employee administration. The successful candidate will also be responsible for project invoicing, debtor review and follow-up, as well as financial reporting and office administration tasks.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' Accounts Payable experience with a sound knowledge of accounting principles
- Previous payroll experience is preferred
- Experience working with MYOB AccountRight is essential
- Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized and methodical
- Ability to multi-task and willingness to work flexibly
- Professional written and oral communication skills
