You will be working for a well-established accounting firm that believes in partnering with clients, rather than being just another advisor. This accounting firm has been servicing a loyal client base across a broad range of industries all throughout Australia for the last 30 years. They are located in Spring Hill, a 5 minute walk from the local train station and easily accessible via bus. This firms culture is extremely supportive, social and is aware you have a life outside of work and will respect that.

**The Role**:
As an administrative assistant, you will support the accountants with general administration work for their clients and have regular contact with the clients and ATO. You will be working closely with a very supportive, reliable and bubbly office manager who can show you the ropes and get you up to speed, if you need. You will have the option for flexible start and finish times, as well as WFH options once a week and be part of a very social and welcoming team of 45 in the office.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Lodging through the ATO portal
Document preparation, correspondence and assisting with compliance collations
Completing ASIC registers
Maintaining client database
Client fees invoicing
Opening the mail and sending it out to clients
Data entry into HandiLedger
Using excel to summarise income and expenses
Accessing MYOB/ Xero to get client reports Skills & Experience:
You must have at least 6 months experience working for an accounting firm and have a warm and bubbly personality. Preferably, you are social, posses strong interpersonal skills and can conduct yourself in a professional manner when need be.

**It is essential you have**:
A minimum 6 months recent administration experience at an accounting firm
Have a basic understanding of ASIC registers
You have experience liaising with the ATO
You have full working rights in Australia
You don't mind being in the office 4 times a week The Benefits and Culture
