Job Title: Water Design Drafter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced water design drafter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the design and drafting work across civil, mechanical, and structural disciplines for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare process and mechanical design documentation using AutoCAD and 12d Model or Civil3D.
  • Work closely with senior engineers to develop practical, cost-effective designs for water and other infrastructure projects.
  • Apply skills in designing and detailing water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines and pump stations.
  • Use software tools to produce accurate drawings and improve drafting workflows.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3–5 years' experience in civil design, ideally in water and wastewater infrastructure.
  • Solid understanding of water and sewerage design, including pipelines and pump stations.
  • Proficiency in 12d or Civil3D and AutoCAD for infrastructure projects in Australia.
  • Willingness to work on varied projects and learn new technical aspects.
  • Good organisational skills to help manage workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Exposure to Inventor 3D, Revit, Plant 3D, or GIS tools.
