Software Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Infrastructure Specialist to join our Digital Solutions team. As a Software Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continued successful operation of technology platforms, minimizing disruptions that can impact client experience.

About This Role

To be successful in this position, you will need to have:

  • A relevant degree with at least 4 years' subsequent relevant experience.

You will also need to possess excellent technical skills, including design, coding, testing, and documentation of software using standard tools and practices. Additionally, you should be able to install and remove hardware/software, troubleshoot issues, document changes, and provide client support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, code, verify, test, document, and maintain moderately complex software using standard tools and practices.
  • Install and remove hardware/software, troubleshoot issues, document changes, and provide client support.
  • Define and execute test cases, report results, and identify risks/issues in line with requirements.
  • Maintain infrastructure, report on required changes, automate deployments/provisioning, and assist in resolving operational issues.
  • Provide assisted guidance in specific areas, collaborate with others, and recognize personal knowledge limits.
  • Monitor and manage resource usage, support planning, and apply demand control techniques.
