Senior Remedial Project Coordinator

Be part of a dynamic team where you will be given the opportunity to take your career to the next level. You will be involved in all aspects of remedial engineering, investigating and repairing defects in residential and commercial buildings.
As a Senior Remedial Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Attending client meetings, site investigations and diagnosis of building defects;
- Producing designs in accordance with relevant standards and codes, preparing technical reports and building condition reports;
- Preparing project plans, including budgets and resource planning, preparing scope of works documents and design drawings;
- Managing projects on-site and inspecting remedial works;
- Providing a comprehensive remedial design service to clients;
- Building key client relationships and liaising with Clients and Contractors to drive business growth initiatives;
- Managing numerous projects to programme and budget, preparing fee proposals and meeting minute documents;
- Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment, producing designs and specifications under limited supervision;
- Mentoring junior team members.
The ideal candidate will have an Engineering degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, minimum 5 years' post-graduate experience in remedial engineering consultancy or considerable experience in the construction industry. They will also have Chartered Structural Engineer status or be close to achieving it, experience working on construction projects, particularly in the Strata and residential industry, excellent communication and report-writing skills, and be able to build and maintain effective client relationships.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a hybrid model, enjoying regular days off and flexible working arrangements. The role is open to Australian residents only.
