Job Title: Operational Process Specialist

We are seeking an Operational Process Specialist to manage our derivative products' smooth operation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Clearing trades efficiently and accurately for all relevant markets.
  • Processing give ups/take ups/EFP/NLT bookings in a timely manner.
  • Handling exceptions and reporting on post-trade clearing process issues.
  • Processing post-trade requests from clients/front office (Position transfers, closeouts, trade re-allocation, system settlement of trades).
  • Investigating and resolving any clearing breaks raised and ensuring root-cause level resolution.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Managing exchange deposits/withdrawals requests in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with exchanges/banks on collateral related matters.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable external/internal regulatory requirements, including the prevention of Financial Crime/Fraud.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Derivatives Operations.
  • A good understanding of Exchange-Traded Derivatives markets, systems, and process workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of key risk areas and relevant controls.
  • High standards of accuracy/diligence and ability to meet deadlines.
  • A process excellence mindset coupled with initiative.
  • Strong communication skills for internal/external stakeholder communication.

For consideration, you should have a Bachelor's degree or exceptionally strong results in an AQF Level 6 qualification, familiarity with wholesale financial markets/products/clearing house mechanisms, and excellent written/oral communication skills in English.
