General Practice Specialist

This is a specialist medical position at an 18-bed acute medical facility, handling around 300 patients monthly.
The hospital features a busy Community Health Service and other visiting services.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled medical professional to provide comprehensive and professional specialist services in general practice. This role involves providing admitting, consultative, diagnostic, procedural, outpatient, telehealth, and on-call services as required.
The successful candidate will be expected to attend during rostered hours and on-call periods, including clinical handover, supervision, teaching, and emergency and routine care.
Mandatory Requirements- A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM, or equivalent overseas-trained specialist pathways.
- Recent and comprehensive experience in general practice demonstrating medical expertise.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with patients, colleagues, and the public.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team and with stakeholders.
