This Fixed Term Full Time position is a valuable opportunity to contribute to the Victorian Paediatric Palliative Care Program, providing comprehensive palliative care to children with life-limiting conditions.
The role involves delivering high-quality clinical care, liaising with community and hospital-based supports, and participating in education, research, and quality initiatives.
As part of a skilled multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver sensitive and skilled provision of clinical care to children requiring palliative care
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the paediatric palliative care team and acute and community health care providers
- Contribute to departmental meetings and training activities
- Participate in education and research opportunities
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Full registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Successful completion of the FRACP Written and Clinical Examination (or equivalent)
- Experience working in general or subspecialty paediatric medicine, or palliative medicine
- Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and collaboration
