Job Title: Investigator - Ongoing Opportunity

This is an ongoing opportunity to join our Investigations & Enforcement team at SIRA. As an Investigator, you will conduct complex compliance and investigation activities, delivering risk-based regulatory programs to enhance compliance.

  • Prepare and undertake investigations, gathering evidence and preparing prosecution briefs.
  • Undertake proactive compliance operations to stay ahead of potential issues.
  • Provide specialist advice to internal and external stakeholders, maximizing regulatory outcomes and minimizing negative impacts.
  • Gather, review, and maintain accurate records, documents, submissions, and reports.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Government Investigations or similar qualification.
  • Experience in conducting investigations into fraud and/or industry misconduct.
  • Knowledge of criminal law, rules of evidence, criminal procedures, and administrative law.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
