About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Compliance and Conduct Risk Manager to provide expert advice on regulatory compliance and conduct risk management. As a key player, you will ensure our business meets internal and external compliance obligations through strong governance and technical expertise.

This role is instrumental in designing, implementing, and embedding our compliance & conduct strategy, working closely with stakeholders to enhance risk management practices and support regulatory change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist advice and oversight on compliance & conduct risk across AUSPAC.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to embed an effective and robust compliance control environment.
  • Develop and implement methodologies to assess, measure, and report compliance & conduct risks.
  • Own, develop, and monitor compliance policies and procedures.
  • Deliver data-driven insights to monitor compliance and conduct risk appetite.
  • Support the implementation of regulatory changes and continuous improvement in complaints management, claims handling, and product governance.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Strong compliance & conduct expertise with experience embedding robust frameworks, preferably in insurance.
  • A problem-solving mindset, focused on delivering practical and effective solutions.
  • An ability to communicate compliance concepts in a clear, jargon-free manner.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
