Job Description

As a Chiller Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of chiller systems in various industrial and construction settings. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components, as well as excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and repairing air and water-cooled chillers, as well as their associated electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
  • Utilizing advanced HVAC diagnostic equipment to identify system issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Reviewing blueprints and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
  • Keeping accurate records of assignments and producing detailed work reports to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Providing exceptional customer service by explaining complex HVAC issues in a clear and concise manner.

Working closely with customers to resolve concerns and develop tailored solutions is crucial for success in this position.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least 6 years of experience in chiller maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP contracting principles and practices.
  • Universal EPA Certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
